We are all running towards something. You are doing it right now and you don't even realise it. The things that is pressing you for time. The thing you feel like you should be doing right now. The thing that stirs anxious thoughts. The thing that your life revolves around. The goals and dreams and hopes and ambitions you have. You are running.

But is the thing you are running after really all that you hope it will be? Can it deliver on what you believe it promises? The Bible talks about how we have a tendency to chase after many things other than God. But our souls were made for closeness to God. So there is inevitably a shortcircuit in our souls. This disconnect shows up in the form of anxiety or fear or weariness is there to serve as a reminder that we spend a lot of time running after the wrong things.

So why not come and spend two Sundays with us as we consider what it means to run towards God. Like the child to their parent. Like the survivor to their rescuer. Like the helpless to their place of hope.

Run for your life to God for in Him are all that you need to rely on for life. It's time to flee towards His faithfulness.
